I got back into Magic again by friends at a rock-club/bar. They give me this deck to play with where I used to enjoy red and blue. The next day I ordered it and started playing again. These upgrades are probably my priority at the moment, Kamahl's Druidic Vow instead of the recommended Wirewood Channeler and will most likely get the rest of your upgrade recommendations.

I'd really love to see a Don't Hug Me I'm Scared style deck with Ms.Bumbleflower. Cards like Willbreaker and Dismiss into Dream would be devastating in that deck!

Just played this deck against my friend. His deck is aggressive where as this deck is slow ramp deck. The longer the game goes on the stronger this deck is. My boat fly had +13/+13 at one point. I ended up winning with 15 health since my friend came in swinging. I love this deck a lot.

Odric, Master Tactician would be silly here. The ability to have no one block would be an insane synergy with Finneas. As Odric needs at least three creatures attacking with him, to dictate how the opponent blocks, and the ability to have no one block and have the Rabbits swarm them, and Finneas attack without worrying if he gets blocked as Odric can easily get him through to proc his ability. I tested this out recently and it is deadly.

Wizard class is too good in this deck to cut it, and with a small edition of Fathom Mage, it creates an avenue to your alternate wincons of twenty- toed toad, simic ascendancy, and triskadeckaphile.

How many basic lands would you recommend for a mono color deck where the average mana cost of spells(creatures, artifacts, commander, sorceries, instants, enchantments) is at 4,03 mana?

Dont the odd acorn gang may have you draw 3 cards each combat? 1 for each opponent? “Whenever one or more squirrels deal damage to a player” Rather than “whenever one or more squirrels deal damage to one or more players”

I really wish that Squirrel Farm was legal in commander!

I think it was a really good video for new players as me. You talk about the overall deck, then select the best cards. And most important, you say what cards you could remove, because sometimes people make upgrades videos, put some new cards but they don't say what cards you could delete, I am not good making deckbuilding and I need help to know what cards are good enough to keep in my deck. (pd: sorry for my english, i am from spain)

What do you think about add Ugin, the Ineffable as planes walker? I am thinking on buy it, is not spensive and i think work great.

i have a couple cards in my deck that can make a token copy of any card if you copy hazel of the rootbloom you can triple the amount of them you have each turn which gets out of hand very quickly without a field clear

The first card I cut was the commander and replaced it with Ygra. That alone made the deck fairly strong. My next steps will be focused on food/token generation. Ygra needs trample, too. If you can pull that off, you'll have a pretty solid deck.

Hey it says you swapped 15 cards for 15 other cards but I only saw 13 cards removed in the line up.

I have a colorless/artifact based version of this deck. I've lost good friends since playing it.

This pre con has a 65% win rate without upgrades. Most only have 25% to 30% win rate. I am so getting this pre con such a fun commander but a lot of ppl will be going brrrrrrrr when they see this hit the field (removal magnet)

So i have this really specific question about this deck, there is a 5 grey/1 red mana enchantment in this deck called Warstorm Surge, wich says "Whenever a creature you control enters, it deals damage equal to its power to any target" but does this also count when you cast an 4 cmc (or more) artifact or enchantment (because in your turn bello makes it a creature) Thanks!

The -1/-1 counter synergies would not work. The text says "on Devoted Druid" or "on Cinderhze Wretch" and "untap", respectively. The food token has that ability, but is not "Devoted Druid" or "Cinderhaze Wretch". The named cards are exiled, so it doesn't matter because they can't tap/untap. If it did work they way you suggest, you would have infinite tap/untap on every food token off a 1 card + 1 of many card combo. Instead the food tokens only benefit from the single tap for mana or tap to make discard, both of which are still extremely powerful.

I really had doubts about this precon, but it plays quite well. Gratuitous Violence is certainly worth considering as an upgrade.

Don't you think Umezawa counters the cards you have put in? A lot of +x/+x and eays to cast non 1/1 tokens which render her useless...

Another great card to add is Witty roastmaker: red 3/2 with a cost 3, and every time a creature enters under your control, you deal 1 damage to each opponent. With offspring from Zinnia, is pretty similar to the instigator, and you can have 5 cards with this effect in play (2x instigator, 2x roastmaster, 1x tremors) and deal 5 damage to each opponent every time you cast a creature. Now imagine cast 5 tokens in a turn withthia board 😂

Amazing ideas and win conditions! ....but I fear that cards like these will paint a target on your back by anyone who knows how this deck works 😂

Played this deck for the first time in a precon tournament today. Won my 3 pods at 1st place. This precon is INSANE.

Can we a get little update on this at some point? love to see if we could improve it a little with all the new sets that have come out. one of my fav decks since building it
